Step 1: Visit the UAN Portal
1. Open your web browser and go to the official UAN portal. You can find it at
https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
Step 2: Click on "Forgot Password
2. On the UAN portal's homepage, locate and click on the "Forgot Password" link. It's usually found below the login fields.
Step 3: Enter UAN and Captcha
3. You'll be directed to a page where you need to enter your UAN and the Captcha code displayed on the screen. Double-check the UAN to ensure accuracy.
Step 4: Click on "Submit
4. After entering your UAN and Captcha, click the "Submit" button.
Step 5: Verify OTP
5. You'll receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number linked to your UAN. Enter this OTP in the space provided on the screen.
Step 6: Set New Password
6. Once you've successfully entered the OTP, you'll be prompted to set a new password. Choose a strong password that combines uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters for security.
Step 7: Confirm Password
7. Re-enter the new password to confirm it.
Step 8: Click on "Submit
8. After confirming the new password, click the "Submit" button.
Step 9: Password Reset Successful
9. If your password reset is successful, you'll receive a confirmation message on the screen. Your UAN password has now been reset.
Step 10: Login with New Password
10. Return to the UAN portal's homepage and log in using your UAN and the new password you've just set.
Congratulations, you've successfully reset your UAN password! Make sure to keep your new password secure and do not share it with anyone. If you face any issues during this process, you can contact the EPF helpdesk or your employer's HR department for assistance.
